          I was SO lucky to be chosen to participate in the Influenster YSLVoxBox.  I was literally jumping up and down with joy about receiving this amazing (and high end) product.  The box and packaging was very typical for YSL very simple, elegant and beautiful.  Opening the box the mascara tube is a beautiful gold with a nice weight.  The formula is volumizing and lengthening without that fake "spider legs" look.  It comes off slightly clumpy in the beginning but with most brand new tubes I see this allot.   High end or low end they both tend to do this.   My normal everyday mascara is "Benefit's They're Real" which I love and the YSL has a lot in common with it.  The only difference with it being that the YSL is defiantly blacker and thicker but the separation and length run about the same.  I cannot say enough good this about this mascara.  I have always drooled over all the Yves Saint Luarent beauty products, so to finally get to use one was life changing.  I highly recommend trying this product at least once in your makeup lifetime.  This mascara has a retail value of $32 and comes in six different shades.

First Aid Shot Therapy $2.99

    I actually had to read the card to figure out what the heck this was.  It states it's a "liquid pain relief (drinkable) shot for headaches, migraines, sore muscles, back pains and hangover headaches" (lol)  It is the size of the 12 hour energy things but for aches and pains instead of energy.  I have not try this yet I think I'll wait until I have one of my migraines to put it to the test.

SunfulColors Professional Nail Polish $1.99

    I love Sunfulcolors they are always coming out with new colors to try.  But this one is just not me!
    Its just not mint enough for me to love.  But its also not green enough to wear, its just very blah and in-between.  Its got a very gray undertone that reminds me of the old appliances that you would find in your grandma's house.

Covergirl Bombshell Curaceous by LashBlast Mascara $9.49 -$11.99

    I was so excited when I found out that this was in my box.  I thought "finally something from Influenster that I can really relate to my blog", maybe even do a whole review on Yay!

    This mascara has a double ended wand side 1 for voluminous curl with a plastic brush and side 2 for intensify with a fiber brush. Since the wands themselves are the middle section of this contraption it does make it rather hard to work with.  Also the packaging itself is very large, it is the fattest mascara tube that I own.  My first try with it just made me frustrated, I was applying makeup to go out somewhere and really did not have time to put on 3 to 4 coats to get the same results of my normal (Benefits they're Real!) mascara. So I gave up quickly and used my favorite to get the job done.

    With all that being said "Yes" I will be giving it another go and I will post a full review on it asap.

I have had one of these before a long time ago, I never ended up needing it but with a 6 year old off for summer brake I have a feeling I'm going to need this one.

This product is fairly new and I have never tried it.  It looks amazing and I can wait to get to the store to pick one up to try.  Although I have a feeling I'm not going to get as much as my husband will, ice cream thief! Lol ;)

Sometimes you just need the old school originals bar of soap.  

Tip: Do you have a dresser that the drawers get stick and are hard to pull out? Try rubbing a bar of soap along the groves of the dresser. It will make those drawers slide like butter.  I have done this to every dresser in my house. We even have a special bar of soap that is only used for our dressers! ;)

 

Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother $30

Now this is new, I used to sell Avon about 3 or 4 years ago and it was then that I learned that the quality of Avon is closer to high-end products then they are to there drug store pricing.  And this smoothing wrinkle cream did not let me down.

     I'm only 30-something ;) and I don't have a lot of wrinkles but I tried it out anyways.  After a full face of makeup I applied (with my finger) a small amount under my eyes and it smoothed wrinkles I didn't even realize I had!  Have you ever tried an HD powder? Well this is close to one of those it gives you a nice air brushed look with very little product.  It is worth the $30 price tag and just as a heads up if it's not on sale when you go to buy it, ask your Avon lady if there is a sale coming up (there usually is).  If not I also have a coupon code for 15% off Anew purchase of $50 with code ANEW15 (valid until 8/01/14)

 

Puffs To Go $.49 per single pack

Well you can't bet that price! When was the last time you bought something useful for under $.50?  Every mom and allergy sufferer should have one of these on hand at all times!

 

Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card FREE?

I'm not quite sure why we where getting this in a "product testing box" this item is free and as far as I can tell its just like a store loyalty car. You get a discount because you have it and remember to use it (which I never do) and I haven't even remembered to activate it yet. I'm just not very excited about this, it seem like it was a waste of space in an otherwise great VoxBox. Let me know if you know something I don't please! *I will keep you updated*

So my thoughts on this box, the bar of soap, the Neo to go and the Puffs to go are a nice extra to have on hand... not great for a box item but okay.  The ice cream and the makeup smoother make this box! They are awesome and I hope to see more items like this in the future.  But as far as the shell gas card, it probable just going to get lost in the piles of unused loyalty card. You know the ones to the places you never go so you never remember to grab them.  Plus the only ones that I keep on hand are the key ring ones. I keep them on a separate key fob that is kept in the center consoled of my car. It only leaves that spot to go into the store and then back.  Short of the long of it, even if I would use it it would need to be a key ring style.

Benefit's They're Real Party

           A few months ago I was chosen to host a Benefit party. I was so excited and honored.  Let me start this party review by saying I am deeply sorry to Benefit and Ipsy for taking so long to post about my amazing party.  I had a death in the family that week and it really affected my schedule.  But all that aside the party was amazing.

          With all the freebies and I just had to go out and buy all sorts of cute stuff for the party!

          I was not willing to take pictures while the party was happening just to respect everyones privacy.  But I did take plenty of pictures of the products and the decorations before the party.

          I invited friends and family; Cheerse, Katlyn, Jessica, Grace, Beatriz, Emily, Rosa, Tif and my mom.  We played the games, I gave away the two brow gels as prizes.  I also informed them on allot of the products shown and answered any questions they had.  We had loads of fun talking about make up and learning new things.  The ladies favorite part where the free samples they got to take home. They couldn't believe all the stuff and a few of them even knew the brand and couldn't believe that we where all get samples! We all love Benefit and we will all be buying more all due to this party!

KRE-O Cityville Invasion from BZZAgent

I received a BIG box the other day from BzzAgent and my son went crazy!

And you can see why, we received the Kre-o CityVille Invasion Marina Madness Construction set with 206 pieces and 5 of the  Dr. Mayhem's jewel heist with 36 pieces 

plus 5 of the $5 off coupons to pass out to friends.

 My son ran out and gave two of the Dr. Mayhem's sets (along with coupons) to his best friends across the street, so the picture is missing two.  He just couldn't wait lol!

He spent all day Saturday playing with this one toy!  It took him about 30-45 mins to put it all together by himself (he's only 5) and he loved every min of it!

The amazing part about Kre-o is its not just building block it incorporates sound and motion.   The pier dock has ocean and sea gull sound effects and the shark and scuba diver have motion pads that vibrate and moves them across the board.  (Video of the motion and sound coming soon.)  

It is awesome! So innovated, I don't know why anyone would ever want boring old Lego's ever again! If you haven't seen them you have to check them out!  My son has already added other Kre-o box's to his Christmas list to Santa.

This is one of the largest tube of BB Creams I've ever seen, it will last for a long time.  I have tried this brand before and it is to oily for me.  And does not have good coverage for me either.  I can not wear this brand but I know that other people love it and I will be passing it one to someone else to try for the first time.

 SINFULSHINE with Gel Tech in the color "Come Hither"  This is a new line just released its very shinny and solid in one coat, also easy to work with and wears well. The original formula was more of a matte color, where this new formula is a shinny gel formula that needs no top coat.  I love this polish, color everything about it.  It's my new favorite. I would defiantly recommend picking this up and I will be getting more colors ASAP.  You can find this at Walmart and most drug store for $2.99
