I'm not usually a fan of oatmeal but I probably try this one because it looks so good. The NYC brand I have tried before and they are very nice for the cheap price. But I've never tried the liquid lip shine so this will be nice to try.  I have also tried some other brands of the nail stickers but never this one so hopefully these will last longer. Never tried the Eboost but I'm sure I'll love the natural long-lasting energy .  My favorite thing in this box is the Goody hair brush. I can't wait to try this hair brush super absorbent and antimicrobial microfiber removes 30% of water from wet hair. And last I have tried and love, love, love the face masks. So I'm happy to have another!

Lipstick Swatches

     Today I thought I would do some swatches of my lipsticks. First off lets me say that I hate when people say “this is the perfect nude lip color” because everyone has a different shade of lips.  Personal my lips have more color then most, a light mauve is more my “perfect nude” verse the average, of baby pink! So my lipsticks are mostly mauve. And my favorites right know are the Revlon lip butters.

I am so excited to try out these new Ultra Palmolive Fresh Infusions the bottles are so cute!  The size of these bottle are also impressive. Instead of the normal 10 fl. oz. these bottles are an whopping 16 fl. oz.

The smells are Ginger White Tea (most excited about *Favorite flowery smell), Lemon Thyme and Lime Basil (shared this one with my mom, she loved the soft smell of it).  It also came with 5 coupons! I do not yet know how much they retail for but you can find them at Walmart and Target.

My Birchbox what late again!!

This month Birchbox teamed up with Goop and you had the choice of receiving the regular Birchbox or the Goop box.  I did not receive an email about the Goop box option, so I ended up with the regular box. But I have to say this month was a bad month for Birchbox. Everyone that I have seen do a reviews on there boxes have said that they hated there boxes and I myself am a little disappointed too. There was not one full size item and I don't drink tea. So on to the break down.

Went on opaque I two coats but I found it very hard to get a solid color without lines of the metallic showing up. I've only worn it once because its just to hard to work with.

Nail Polish Remover Trick!

          The best way to remove stubborn nail polish.  Cut ten 6 x 6 squares of foil.  Then cut ten cotton round disc in quarters and coat the cotton pieces with polish remover, place one piece on each of your finger nails.  Then wrap cotton round and fingernail in foil.  *Quick tip save your thumb and pointer fingers for last.*   Let sit for 15 to 20 min.  Then apply a little pressure on nail while removing both the foil and cotton pad all at once.
          There you have it the simplest nail polish removal ever! Fast, easy and no more hard scrubbing on those stubborn polishes such as the glitter polishes and dark reds.

Tip for brighter nails

Easy fast nail brightening trick.

          Make your nail brighter and whiter in minutes with this nail scrub.  After having nail polish for a week or so sometime your nails will get yellow or even be tinted by the nail polish color itself.  This trick is the best and fastest way to fix a simple problem.  Mix together equal parts baking soda and hydrogen peroxide into a paste.  Scrub paste mix into nails with a toothbrush. Rinse and repeat if necessary then dry and... instantly brighter nails!

I Started with a base of Spoiled in the color My button fell off and then used scotch tape to form a line then applied the Nyc in the color French white tip (two coast). Lastly I traced the line in L.A. Colors Art Deco in the color 24k glitter.

Influenster has revamped them page!

  The website itself is much better, easier to understand and just plain fun to look at. But the downside they promised that all of you previous reviews, badges, surveys and extras where all kept and on the new page.  Well that's not the case! I put in allot of work into this program, in fact hours of work. Mostly because it was good for my blog, my friends and family love hearing about new things I've tried and they love hearing about the different box services I'm reviewing. But also who doesn't love getting to try out new products for FREE!  So the fact that all that time has been wasted and lost is very frustrating.  So what do I do I sit down to re-due all my info and hard work just to find out that now there are limits to how much you can do in one day (or one week I'm not quite sure). So now I'm on the fence to what I should do. I have sent in an email to see if they will fix the problem, but we will have to wait to see what happens (previous emails have gone completely unanswered!) .  But for the sake of such a good program I think I will wait and see if they can work the bugs out.

  Overall this is a great program to join! But if your already a part of it, its going to be a little rocky for a while.

Fall boots by CZ laundry

          These are some awesome fall boots that I picked up a couple of weeks ago from Ross. They are from CZ laundry I've never heard of them but I LOVE them! I picked them up for $29.00.  The boots are a taupe brown color with an inside zipper and buckle accent.  They have a small heel but are very manageable, I haven't been really worn high heels since my son was born.  Do you love them? Nyc in the color Manhattan is a lovely dark Ox blood color with a hint of purple. Goes on opaque in three coat and last about three days, not great but with the perfect base coat it can last much longer!

    Opi in the color Bubble bath this took four coast and as you can kind of see it is not opaque at all. But if you put on only one or two coats it can be a very pretty sheer light pink. It is long lasting, around 5 days.

It's a pretty purple pink color. It applies opaque in two coats and has a matte finish. I applied a clear top coat to make mine shine.

This is a beautiful coral color that applies opaque in three coats and has average wear of three to four days. A perfect color for summer.

Steel the Show by Spoiled

Spoiled in the color Steel the show applies opaque in two coats. Color block with Ulta's High Roller Nail polish.

Nyx Jumbo Eye pencils color UPDATED swatches

(From left to right Strawberry,French Fries, Yogurt and Sparkle Nude)

    I love these eye shadow pencils! They are creamy and come in 32  beautiful colors.  They work great as an all over color or an eye shadow base.
    I have French Fries which is a dark brown with a copper tint, yogurt is a pink flesh tone, Sparkle nude which is the perfect base nude color, and Strawberry Milk that is a pale pink.
    They all have a sparkly sheen to then without have actual glitter pieces. The only down side is that they do crease so make sure you apply a eye lid primer first if your using them as eye shadow color.


    I personally like Smashbox photo finish lid primer.

First off let me say how sorry I am that it has been so long since my last post. My family and I had our mini Pomeranian of 6 years pass away unexpectedly about 2 weeks ago and it hit us all pretty hard. Since then it has just been hard to get back into the routine.   I went to Ulta today and picked up a deal.  When you spend $17.50 on Ulta brand items you get a free makeup bag with $88 of  free products. So I picked up there Ulta enriched cleansing cloths, Ulta eye shadow in rose dusk and the Ulta double size pencil sharpener. The facial wipes are very nice they are moist, soft and smell good. The eye shadow is pretty but the color comes out looking a little orange. I also have a full list of reviews on facial wipes that I have tried, just leave a comment below if you would like me to post a review.  (because good ones are so hard to find)

  With those purchases I got the mystic -cool set in the light brown clutch for free. My Favorite Shoes for Summer

  

        My new favorite shoes, the ones on the left are from the Brash line avaiable at Payless. They are a tan color with gold inside and gold gem stones covering the outside.  The ones on the right are from Target, they are rose gold flip flops with gem stones on the straps they also come in black, silver and gold.  They are both so cute and are the first ones that I reach for on a hot summer day.  The are both very comfortable but the Brash ones take a few days to brake in.  A little trick I learned is to put Vasline on your heels when your shoes rub and it works great.

Saturday Haul

I have a small haul from Saturday that I wanted to show you guys. I went to a local discount store and found this top that looks so cute belted, a Paris style notebook for my purse and this Paris picture that I got a CRAZY good deal on! The price was $29.99 but I got it on sale for only 7 bucks!! I couldn't pass it up. Its a good size picture too. I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture but it has four little rhinestones in the corners. It will go perfect in the master bedroom.

My new favorite nail polish of the moment is Quit Metal-ing by ULTA. This is three coats of polish and it will last a full week. In the light its a very sparkly, metallic rose gold color. I LOVE rose gold!
